I know i can look this up. But I just wanna polish my side case. maybe the brake cover.

What all do I need to get a good polish?

for the cases..i recomend sedning those to nacs425ex..they require a lot of skill...im afraid to do mine in case i mess it up....but for polishing small things like the break cover....al you need is sand paper...400 grit...then up as high as you want..i stop at 220.....use 400 to get paint off...then use the larger grits going in order to make it smooth...then i rub mothers in...and with my dremel i have a small hard wheel i use first...then apply more mothers and move to the larger soft wheel....and the outcome is this

i use oven cleaner to get the paint off. spray it and DON'T get it on your skin, its an acid and leaves scars. sometimes this works wonders, you can wipe the paint off with a rag. (i was just doing it int he basement) and sometimes it doens't work at all. lol, so give it a shot. but once thats off i use steal wool to smooth it out then i use mothers. good luck!

can you rub a paint stripper on stuff to get the paint off then polish it????
