New clutch lever for parking brake removal?

Quick Question; Do I have to buy a new cluch lever/perch if I remover the parking brake or is it okay to just remove the parking brake, install a block off plate, and then remove the cable?

It's fine. That's exactly what I did before I went and bought my ASV levers. Just remove the cable from the perch and then from the rear caliper to remove it completely from the quad. Then bolt on your new block off plate and enjoy not have that extra cable that doesn't do a damn thing!:p
