My quad has been giving me fits lately. The dash & needle flashes occasionally. It has been cutting out on me going up hills. Almost like a 2step rev governor. And sometimes has just no power.
At idle I am only getting 12.3V on a battery that is 1 year old. This tells me its running on the battery alone.
I guess the battery could be the issue, straining the stator/regulator/rectifier. I want to charge it tonight and load test it tomorrow to eliminate the battery.
I need to know, does the 2007 450HO have a rectifier/regulator? If so where are they?
