just make one. i have a yz shaft you can have cheap. get the crf nuckle have it turned down to the same size as yz shaft then slip a piece of chromoly over them and have tig welded.

I went to the local bike shop, picked up a used CRF kicker. Cut some of the material off, brought a steel pipe the right size and had a friend weld on the other knuckle.

So far works good.

that is exactly what houser does about 20 bucks in parts and sells for 200 i started to do them but the hybrid market died. now i make the kickstarts for yfz 450 but thats limited since the new machines dont have a spot for them still sell about 8 per month

I already have a Walsh crf extension and crf kicker. The problem is when I kick to start my foot hits my New AC nerf bars (Hate AC). Broke my toe last week becouse of this. Maybe i will just buy a set of Raths. AC Nerfs for sale for pro peg setup like new $100 plus shipping. Can text pics

I just turned down the peg on a CR knuckle enough to work on the Suzuki kicker.... Cut my kicker down short enough to where it wouldn't contact the pipe... Still longer than the Banshee kicker....

i thought you converted from the crf to yz kicker. thats what the crf to yz extention would be eathier way i can bend a crf kicker as well with my jig. pic is an 08 yz 450 kicker that i bent

no doubt. i just got my crf nuckle last week havent had a chance to do any of the machining work or pick up a peice of tubing yet. think about it this way with the east coast atv price. two nuckles at 50 a peice is 100 bucks. now add in tool wear and labor. they are not really making all that much if they are making them the same way as we are. Lets face the facts you have to make money to keep a buisness open.

X2 Perfectly said. I make 10% after overhead with my products. Consider that after the customer pays $3700 for a heat pump water heater that I paid $1900 for..... Companies that low ball their prices, go out of business.

i have a buisness as well and know what ur saying i try to do alot better than 10% though but anyway just saying if u know how to do one there not that tough u can use a yz shaft all the way back to 77 and im sure honda used the same shaft in many machines. i would bet i could make one for $50 unless u guys are buying new? i know they arent using new parts cause i bought one in 99 and the shaft was a used shaft and used nuckle

my buddy made parts for them and k and k, i dont want to start that war again but i know the mark up is alot more than u think. but its a buisness and if people will pay then i gues u can charge. i was fortunate enough to get 2 bikes at cost from my buddy

No doubt theres alot to factor in when it gets down to it. You may have to pay an employee (if its not a one man show) and hourly rate to install assemble ect. Plus if you keep something in stock your sitting on money you spent waiting on a customer. then you have the basic bills.

anyways back on to the subject im going to try to get my extender built this week.

i guess u can look at it this way too i didnt want to pay to have my house redone so i learned how to do it myself. couldnt afford to buy a chopper so i built my own and same with my 30 and 32 ford learned how to weld and built them myself. when it came time to buy parts for my quad or make them i learned how to make them so my mentality is if u want to spend the cash go for it but simple parts sometimes its fun just to make if u can. everyone needs to make money but everyone gets ripped off at some point and if u can do it yourself u cant rip yourself off

Do you still want to sell the AC nerfs? What frame are they set up for?
