I currently have some parts for sale on ebay (drtridr400ex), including a full set of white Maier plastics and soon to be a good 1989 frame.

Whats the most economical way to ship plastics or a frame without costing a buyer their arm or leg? I've had a couple people show interest, including a guy from California, but shipping a large 10lb package from Ohio all the way out there is rediculously priced!

Greyhound bus lines - ran a quick quote from Columbus to Los Angeles and it was $45, transit time 2 days. -For the plastic.

Buyer would have to pick it up at a bus terminal, I think.

UPS would charge you a large package surcharge and extra handling fee. What did they quote you?

I've heard good things about the greyhound.

I shipped a chromoly frame from KS to KY, it was about $130 FedEx ground. This is how I packaged the frame. Arrived alive, that was with insurance up to purchase price.
