Dude i hate you :p . Almost called my dealer and caceled the order. Man there is one thing i hate about doing all this work is that i can't get the graphics i want. I was thinking of putting on Skins graphics but all of the freaking dealers down here don't sell them. They tell me they are only sold in the states and not in Canada. Makes me want to move back beleve me. I shure miss the good old US of A.

2 or 3 hours is a crock of chit...they send you like 20 different grits of sandpaper...it's a 8 hour long process if your plastic is really jacked up...if it takes ya 2 or 3 hours then it wasn't worth doing in the first place...:blah

i think there is 3 differant pieces of sandpaper ya yuppy!! LMAO. I need to do my tank, but im opting for the sanding and clearcoat deal, seems to work good, and wont take long.;)

A friend did his factory 250R tank. It looked really nice. Then he spilled some gas on it. Now it doesn't look nice at all. Gas eats that stuff right back off, then it looks like poop. I don't know what other chemicals will affect it, but gas sure does...

i did it to the front half of my 300, it looks good but you cant wash it with soap or the clear coat will come off, and if you stick a sticker on there & pull it back off the plasitc renew comes off. it does take about a day to renew it though

I heard that stuff doesn't last too long, and when it does wear off your plastic looks really bad...

There is a fairly new thread on here about painting plastic with clear coat. You should check it out. By looking at the pictures, I'd say it looks pretty darned good. The plastic actually looks even shinier than new. It has to be better than that Plastic Renew stuff.
