hey guys im replacing my valve seals in all 4 valves i know i need a valve spring compresser and the seals any thing else ill have to do or have? also will a regular valve spring compresser work or do i need a special one for quads?

yes check everthing for wear, the stems the seats the valves for cupping or wear, the springs ..if you dont have a service manual get one for all the specs

it can be a little tricky..


if the seats needs to be resurfaced it wouldn't hurt to have a pro do it, but that's your call. if you feel confident then you can do it, but if done wrong and cut too deep it can be costly

Yes, should be fine. If you want to regrind them its easy, get valve grinding compound, and chuck the valve in a powerdrill and grind the valve with the compound on it in the head (google it to understand).

Your gonna need a compressor. Rocky mtn atv sells a really nice tusk one that works well.

yeah already got one lol hope its just the seals only thing we can think of that would make it shoot oil out of one side of the exaust port
