Alright well I have been having trouble starting my quad after it cools down and sits for at least 24 hrs. Started tearing it apart and ended up putting in a new high compression piston and rings, brand new honda valves all through the head, brand new gaskets and what not. Its a rough started all the time but when it gets running and is hot the thing fires without hardly touching the starter button. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

sounds like the valves need to be adjusted, mine did the same thing so i got the valves adjusted and it fires up 1st kick

well the valves were all in spec and the only thing we started to mess with was the decomp arm and to get it running the correct compression range we had to set it at .25in by which is .15 above spec but its the only thing that gave us the correct compression and when we put the spark plug in, it started which easier. Going to let in sit overnight and cool down and see what it does
