is this my starter

i have a 06 ltr and when i took it to the dunes the ignition would take longer and longer for it to catch. the push button turns every time but now it wont catch at all what is the problem.

man to tell u the truth im not for sure, im not quite sure i understand exactly wut ur saying, ive never had any bad stater parts on mine, i have had my motor apart and remember most of it, i would pull the small side cover off and look in there, thats if it sounds like the actual starter is turning over, sorry this prob aint much help, used to there was plenty of ppl that could help u,

might be the one way clutch behind the flywheel. If the motor is spinning and not turning the motor over I would check there. The starter gears are always engaged to the idler gear. The one way cltuch keeps the starter from turning when the motor is running.
