Seeing if I can get a clear answer on this. I know about the size differences and alm vs steel, but the 87 swinger has the space where the motor mount goes through the swingarm bolt, the 89 doesn't.

How did the 88-89 rear motor mounts go? If it has the solid swingarm.

I;m swapping in a 450 motor and don't know which swingarm I need to use. I'd like to use the 88-89 if it works:confused:

there were no rear lower engine mounts on the 88/89 oem frames.

i think it was only some aftermarkets that incorprated the rear lower mount.

Ya and I'm pretty sure the CRF450 motor has to bolt threw the swingarm. Looks like 89 swing wont work.
