Dude, this question is answered multiple times in your recent threads.

The directions that came with your piston also list end gaps.

Top ring should be .014"

Second ring should be .017".

I know I have personally posted that before in one of your threads, I also gave you detailed instructions on how to measure the end gap.

When your gap is too big, even after having not filed your rings down from stock, means it's time to bore it out one size larger.;p

I remember posting it aswell. Not bustin balls but if I remember you had some J.O set your last set of rings right? Take your cylinder, piston and rings to a reputable shop and have it done right. Trust me your better off.

How are you checking the end gap?

And no typing is not hard on a "fella", neither is Using common sense and reading.

I know you are checking them with a feeler gauge. I meant what are you doing with the rings to come up with . 025? Are you just leaving them on the piston or are you properly putting them in the bore evenly?

You have to make sure you push the ring into the bore 3 or 4 inches. It is important that the ring is the same depth down in the bore all the way around ( you can't just try and line up the ends because it wont give an accurate reading). A new set of rings will never measure that large of a gap unless someone has already ground them.
