250R swingarm on 400EX with CRF450 motor?

Sup guys first off Id like to say after 10yrs from visiting the site I'm back. I used to be "Honda416exman" Anyways glad to be back into the MX Racing world.

Now I'm building a quad for next year to race mainly stockish for now. My question is I have a 400ex frame that I'm doing a 450 motor in. I want to purchase a 88-89 OEM R swing arm bacause of its length/strength. But I though I read that the 450 motor bolts threw the swing arm so I wouldn't be able to use the swing arm? Can anyone clarify?

im not sure but im guessing you could make a bracket for it because you'll have to do some work to get that motor in there anyways. but what i wanted to say is.........welcome back man! and after this build you'll have the best of honda..the EXR

Ya my concern because Ive been out the game for a while I didn't know if where the 450 sits in the frame if I needed a gap in the swing arm for the motor to sit inbetween?
