Look up fuel customs intakes, best for the kawi. If you do that you prob need to get a fuel controller and map it correctly

koq RACING HAS ONE, THAT YOU CAN USE YOUR STOCK AIRBOX, AND SWP HAS THE MAPS, AND ELECTRONICS FOR IT

Get the fuel customs cuz you wanna get rid of the airbox and intake tube. Stock one is very restrictive and get a power commander 3 or 5. They have maps on their web site as well. dynojet

ya an fci is definitely the way to go, u could also get an ltr tube i hear those work pretty well, anythings better than the stock tube, and id go with either a pc3 or maybe get a procom ecu, procom has like 10 different settings for the different mods that u have.

If you want more answers, go to www.kfx450hq.com and become a member. TONS of kfx450r info over there.

Do the "Big 3." You will get the best results.

1. Fuel Customs Intake (FCI)
2. DASA, Motoworks, Curtis Sparks, etc..FULL exhaust
3. Power Commander 3/5 or ProCom ECU.

Everything is simple to map if you just take the time to read the directions that Dynojet gives you when you buy a Power Commander. Its just a plug and play kind of deal.

The koq intake uses the airbox, because, not everyone rides the dunes. it uses the ltr tube, and moves the airbox back from stock location, it has approximately a 10 % gain, tested on the dyno.
