Only thing that would work is a 450r rear caliper and your ognna need the proper bracket off the 450r for it.

I dont see why you would even bother, the rear caliper stops just fine imho-if you even really use it.

yup use it more than front one in fact and thats why im asking for this, looking to upgrade brake system allover the quad.

Ive used 250r rear calipers on the rear, just use all 250R components (rotor, mount, hub etc) You wont notice any better rear braking, but you can gain a bit of ground clearence.

Front brakes...learn to use them!

the 450r rear brake is a single piston caliper im pretty sure. and for the front, the best bang fo the buck is the yfz450 calipers since they bolt right on the 400ex spindles. ive got honda 450r rear brake on mine. I like it better than the stock 400ex brake. the disc is smaller too so you get more ground clearance.

if i remembercorrectly, that should be all you need. but if you hace a little patience you should be able to do it for less than a hundred. I like my upgrade but not for $150 that price seems a little steep for used parts. and $35 for shipping is unreal.

What year YZ would this swap work with for front calipers?

Do you also need to run a different rotor too?
