if you want a halfway decent pitbike, get a klx/drz110, SSR's and all those brands are not up to par on quality

i'd honestly get a 50 or 110 and build it. pick one up for around 700 and spend the rest on some things.

I'm just about finished putting my bigger mini back together. Pappy was doing some powdercoat for me. Its defenatly not your ordinary pitbike but Ive ran it in races and this thing is a beast. I love my new KX85 front end. Motor is a 132 kit with cam lightened flywheel and 24mm carb.

pitster x4, lxr or piranha with a daytone are the only ways to go these days

Seems lately ive been getting quite a few older mini's in here. Some for resortation, others folks are tricking out for pitbikes.

They are cheap, fun to build and look pretty cool.

If I was building one for actual racing, Pitster Pro would be high on the list, and you cant go wrong with the KLX. Im thinking of picking up a KLX 140 to use as a pitbike at the GNCC's.

My favorite pitbike resto was this Honda. He did a great job on it and it was fun to be a part of it!
