Do these shocks bolt right on to the 400 and what is a reasonable price to pay for a set?

should get you started there but you wont have to grind anything off of them.


they bolt up except for the nut that the fender mount bolts to. they have to be knocked off and substituted for a flat top bolt and nut.

150-200 is from good to great condition also.

Thanks for the quick reply alot of good info in there i plan on getting these shocks and a steering stabilizer in next couple weeks cant wait to feel the difference i wont be able to get them revalved or re sprung for a while but still cant wait to hit my local trails.

:p search it then if that doesnt help out. there are hundreds of threads about them.

the how to has you grinding in the first couple of pages. that doesnt need to be done. take a chisel and knock off the little nut thats inside the mount area for the shocks, get flat top bolt a nut and run it up from the bottom through the top. this is used to hold the fender mounts on in place of the stock bolts.

after that bolt them up and ride.
