how well does moly coat work on parts? does it disappate heat good? or hold any any at all? is it more for exhaust parts

It is claimed to have heat disapating properties. We use it mainly for its rust inhibiting traits (pivot bolts especially)

Alot of guys want the water pump covers done etc.

good for exhaust? im doing a all black quad and seen it on exhaust before but dont know much about it

No I dont think it works well on exhausts, but again, it could be a form of coating different then what I use. It also could well be the type of metals used in ATV exhausts that have helped me form my opinion on it. I usually recommend cermamic coating all 450 exhausts, and for smaller engines a heat paint is just as effective.

If one doesnt want the expense of ceramic coating an exhaust, prep it and buy a can of BBQ grill paint. It comes in silver or a flat black, easy to apply and from what ive seen, holds up about as well as a $200 ceramic job and costs $185 less.
