rear shock

Does anyone know if a rear shock off a big bike will work with a plus 3 hetrick swingarm (eye size) .Need a longer shock to set the rear of the bike up about 2-3 inches. It has a elka about 13 inches long now. Shock provides a good ride bike just sets to low.

you can use any shock you want, but you run into modifying the mounts. Mini mounts are narrow and big quads and bike are much wider. Then you have to research spring rates to see if the shock you choose has a light enough spring rate; also take into account that most big bikes and quads are linkage suspension and mini are non. so spring rates are going to changes and the shock is going act different...
