i went to the local riding pit today with my 250r and my buddy on his worked quadzilla.i gotta say that quadzilla was fast but my little 250r pulled it off the line by atleast 3 quad lenghts everytime.1st-4th i was woopin his butt, but that 500cc motor would start to pull on me once he hit 5th.we were doing quarter mile drags on gravel.his quadzilla had 22's in rears and my little 250 had 18's.the only thing done to my bike is carb, reeds, pipe, and bored over a few times.his quadzilla has psi pipe, carb, reeds, coolhead, and a few more things.
if anyones gotta cool story about there 250r post it up here.

Iam not dissing anybody or any 250r's but when I leave off the line with my Quadzilla iam in 3rd gear. It could be just the bike or the setup

the zilla was probably spinning tires the whole time :D

we were both spining tires off the line.the zilla had brand new tires too.then we switched quads and can i just say ridding that zilla felt like riding a egg beater! it rattled so bad compared to my 250r.but even when i was riding the zilla i wouldnt pass the 250r intill i got into like top of third-bottom of forth.

Its good to be proud of your R but a I think a Zilla with the right rider would eat it all over. IMO

oh yeah if the zilla had the right rider and the right set-up it would have walked all over me.but it was just cool to see my little 250 pull it off the line.and of course there were alot of people there, and of course everyone wanted to get into the action.while we were there i raced a few blasters,a raptor 660 (which was kinda beat up) a ktm 450sx quad (the rider was very young, had to be like 10 or 11) and i beat them all exspet the zilla on the top end.im thinking about getting a 330 pv set up from esr.anyone have any input on those topends? are there good bang for the buck? or is there better set up for less money.i ride alittle bit of everything.my farm has wide open fields to realy let her scream but i do ride trailsand the local sand pits (hillclimbs and drag racing).let me know what you think.oh and heres a pic of my 250r.

just keep racing and you will end up winning every time... those Zillas dont stay running for too long at a time

honestly, i have not seen many zilla's run good, so it does not surprise me.

Now if they are uncorked and in the right builder, watch out, they will run wicked. There are a couple in Florida that run good :D

In think non pv is better way to go my opinion . Now I never own one from esr but have had cr250 any maintenance on the pv sucked because of the tear down I hate down time . I have the 310 stroked and that baby flys beat craptors 700 as if they sitting still . I had 20in sand star on -2 swinger if I could get a good launch then I would have bike lengths on them if not I play catch up and she would catch them . The 450 with mods porting cam pipe had better chance they stop racing due to riding wheelies past them Hahaha love a 2stroke with less than 1000 in the motor from buying cylinder kit , pipe (used) , and crank . My porting is a woods/dunner port and I do all my own work but its possible to have a R that beats 4strokes with less money then they spend to build theirs even if they do their own work . Long live 2strokes
