outlaw question

I found a 2003 outlaw for sale he says its a 450 with reverse. did polaris make an outlaw that year just kinda stumped went looking for reviews on this year couldnt find any.

Earliest Outlaw was 2006. That was a 500 with reverse. The 500 carried into 2007, where there was also a 525. After that, the 500 fuji engine was dropped. In 2008, Polaris built a 450 and 525 straight-axle outlaw and a 525 IRS outlaw. In 2009 all three outlaws got a redesign. They all stayed on for 2010. Then in 2011, the straight-axle outlaws got dropped so only the 525 IRS was being built. For 2012, Polaris is building no Outlaws.

So in summary: no. He is full of it. ;)

2003 predator had a 500cc motor but to fit in with some production race classes people bought a 440 kit. That might be the reason for calling it a 450.
