Glad to hear everyone is ok so far.

Just spoke to Harlen and he and his family are ok. No structural damage to their house, just a few things fell off the walls.

I know I haven't posted in awhile but I live about 10miles from mineral, I was at work when it happened and a bunch of lights came flying from the rafters. I work in a pharmacy and all of our drugs came off the shelves, all of our products went off the steel. At our house all of my shelves came down, along from the plaques on my wall and our driveway has a nice crack down it lol. Definitely nuts, first one ive felt this bad! The college i went to has severe damage to it, especially on the walls, deep cracks all on them!

It was apparently felt here in my city , but I didn't feel a thing at work.

On the weekend we had a 3.3MN hit with a few smaller 2.5MN aftershocks. Living here in a Mining Town we feel bumps every now and then so i just shrugged it off as a good crack of thunder , then I looked outside and saw it was a clear night so I figured one of the mines just let off a good round of explosives... but turns out it was a shifting of a fault.

There'll be another good one soon ... just you wait and see. There's a lot of pressure building up and a 5.something is not enough to relieve all the pressure building up. The San Andreas Fault hasn't had a good bump in wayyyyyy too long.

President Obama press release: this earthquake was not his fault: he inherited it, it is Bushes fault

Didn't feel a thing... I'm in central Jersey. A lot of people I know felt it but all of us at work felt nothing. We didn't even know about the quake until people started texting us asking if we were okay.

It's weird how some people felt a decent amount of movement and others in practically the same place didn't feel a thing.

Pappy

Billy. alot of it has to do with the ground under your feet. We are in a boat load of shale and it really rippled. A friend on the shore said he barely felt it even though he was closer to the epicenter!
