Bandit XCR

Does anyone have the front bandit XCR's? Its time for a new set of fronts and i cant decide between 23" holeshots or 22" razors or the Bandits... the bandits look like they'd work really well but i'd like to hear from someone that has a pair

I had a set and they did great. In a year and a half of riding I never had a flat with them. They do ride a little rougher than 4-ply tires like Holeshots. They last a long time, steer good and have good braking.

I have bandits fornt and rear ant the fronts do real good in the mud and hard pack, but in the snow they need to have air taken out of them so they hook up better but they are a good all around tire.

Wingnut - what size tire did you run in the rear?

damn i can't remember but i will look this weekend for sure when i go home cuz i am at my dorm for the week

i think 10' rim 20 inch'' tire

I had the 20-10-9 XCs in the back. That with the 23 inch XCRs was a very good combination.

iono if i like the look of them or not mounted up, you got the Kenda klaws and holeshots on the other bike now i see Wingnut? outta them two what do you thinks better..cause Im running the knarly's in there rear. you're running the 23/20 set up on both bikes correct?

It is hard to say. I have only ridden on the Kendas this past weekend in a race. I really can't say which is better because it was so muddy I really couldn't get a good feel for them. The rear Knarlys seemed to hook up better in the mud than the Holeshots. I can't say much for the Klaw fronts because the ruts were doing most of the steering. The Knarlys are a little taller than my Holeshot XCRs. Yes, my Bandits, Holeshots, and Kendas are all 23/20.

I think my final choice is gonna be between the 23" front holeshots or the 22" razors... I think that will work good with my Knarly's out back :macho
