I was wondering if anyone knows what brand of swing arm this is. I have had the quad for quite a few years and am looking to upgrade the rear shock as it has a very weak yamamoto shock with a no link setup. When I purchased the bike he thought it was a lonestar swingarm but wasn't sure. Also I have all the factory rear shock linkage, is it possible to use it on a no link swingarm (if this even is a no link swingarm) and a factory shock?
Thanks

+1, looks like lonestar. Need to see the back to see if it has 2 pinch bolts or 4.

it might be possible to use a link on a no link swing arm but not the right thing and the shock would be screwed up. not reccomended at all

your better off buying a no link shock used on here

It does have a 4 pinch bolt setup. Is there a way to tell if the swingarm is made for a no link setup or are all lonestar swingarms a no link? I ask this as the guy I bought the quad from didn't know what the swingarm was setup for and he simply just but some old shock on there that he had laying around that bolted in.

Should be a leager's swingarm with the 4 pinch bolts.

to me that doesn't look like a no link swinger i could be wrong, but looks like enough room for the dog bone to be fit in there and the angle of shock is not verticle enough, for the frame to be made for no-link either.

That is a stock linkage swingarm with a no link shock. I would order a stock linkage shock and use it like it is supposed to be.

Yeah, I gotta agree. How long is that shock that is on it now ? Its gotta be pretty short.

the mount is to far forward to be a stock linkage arm. it looks like a laeger for sure but not 100%. the gussetts look to be about the same place as a cr 500 link would be or crf 450. it is probably just a custom no link setup. you never know people make alot of different things. with that said i am going with a custom no link set up from laeger. lol

exactly my thoughts the mount is too far forward to be a link swinger

It could be a no link frame on mine they moved the shock tower up like 2inches they left the swinger alone other than making it shorter by 2 inches . The bearing carrier is closer the the shock now

Looks like a stock link swinger to me. the mount just looks far back because its an extended swingarm.
