I have my 400ex set up great, just need to tweak the rear abit. Im thinking of a 250r engine hybrid project. Anyone have any links for this? Thinking of maybe a bore/stroker combo 350r engine in my 400ex frame. But i still want to be able to switch the 250r engine out with my built 400ex engine. One day 4 stroke power and then in a few hours 2 stroke power baby lol. Or is this a stupid ***** idea

are you gonna find a different frame to do it? why waste the one you just got how you want?

That's a fairly common hybrid conversion, there are some guys around that have done it. Service Honda sold a conversion kit too using a CR250 engine too I believe, but the lack of a counterbalancer meant lots of vibrations.

I've thought about using a KTM 300 2 stroke motor in the ex frame. That would be a rocket
