i don't think there are any other axles that will fit in the 250x. maybe 300ex nerfs would fit.. not sure tho

im pretty sure it wouldnt work out. You could just get spacers in the rear for yours for the time being, if only i hadnt given mine away i would give them to ya.

i know it wont fit. a 250r axle will fit a 400ex and a 250r axle wont fit in a 300ex swingarm/bearring carrier and a 300ex is the same thing as a 250x im done

well darn it.... im gonna have to find an aftermarket axle then....... ugh.... id prefer not to go with wheel spacers.. id like to have a better axle then the one i have on there now.....
i know the 300ex is the same as the 250x for the most part, so i know that 300ex nerfs would fit i was just wonderin if any others would fit for nerfs

My cousin got 250X nerfs by mistake for his R, with a little bending they fit. May work the other way around.

yeah thats what i was thinkin... its just weird that the a-arms will fit on my quad but not the axle???????????? :huh cuz it would be great if the axle would fit... itd be a +2 set up right there.....

I dont think it will work because I have never heard of it being done.Uselly if something like that works, someone tells everybody then everybody is doing it.

it will NOT fit i have tried it and i know for a fact that the bearring surface is too big on a 250r/400ex axle it is too wide

mike you say you have tried this....cool, did you try installing an axle w/a R or 400 carrier? into the 250x swingarm?just wondering if you did ..?
does the carrier fit in the 250 x swingarm ??..I realize this would make a difference also..;)

well wheel spacers for the front suck...it makes it so hard to turn and stuff....but rear wheels spacers work awesome...i would have no problem buying them just for the rear...i have them on my 300ex...and im at 50 inches in the rear...they work great no problems

so if you could find a nice 250X axle cheap...which im sure you could go for it!

hey dave that wouldnt work either cause then you would have the carrier sliding around and thats not a good thing as we all know lol.

Well when I look in parts books I see that the 300ex and the 250x are interchangable. I am pretty sure that you can get nerfs for yours because I just picked up a pair for my friend for his birthday and I saw 250x in the book.

everything from a 300ex will ft a 250x except some of the motor parts like the electric starter and battery and kickstarter
