I have a 440ex with stock exhaust. If I would get a powerbomb header with stock exhaust because I like in the city so I can't have it too loud. Will a header give me more power with stock exhaust

fmf q4 slip on with a powerbomb header will be your best bet for flow and sound output. just a header isnt going to do anything with the stock canister on it.

lexx and yoshi are pretty loud without a core. the yosh tested out at 95 dB in the shootout that was performed a while back and i know the lexx is close to that if not slightly more. the yosh is supposed to be around 92-94 dB with the quiet core. the core says it is for a 94dB limit so it has to be there for sure.

the t-4 from p-c is 95 dB along with a few others. the key is they are that quiet with new packing and for the first 40 hours or so, then the packing starts to get gunked up and burned and wont work as well. either you have to repack again or leave it a bit louder. repacking is inevitable since it will go bad eventually.

the q4 will be the quietest pipe you will find if you really want something quiet. the rest are all designed to be "race" style pipes, then you buy a quiet core if needed. they sound bad and inhibit the flow quite a bit more than the q4.

i also ride alot of noise sensitive areas and i am very aware of noise from machines. I run a q4 for a reason, so that i wont get hassled for being loud on trails.

read through that, most of those exhausts are still around and will give you a general idea of what dB you are looking at for the general concensous on noise from aftermarket. the quiet ones are 95 and go up to 102 from there for the most part. check out the chart at the end for the all the specs.
