Now that looks like a great build! Now where do you find a KTM cheap?!

Maybe a KTM engine in a LT450R frame?

I have one in the works right now in a yfz frame. Having crank problems. Gotta have it fixed. A new one with the rod on it is around 1000 from ktm

Think of how nasty a powervalved 250r is..this is a PV 380. The one I have has a port job and about 200 psi compression. I rode the dirt bike and it was the fastest thing I over rode. The fourwheeler is going to be extremely light and fast as *****. It's going to be a pro-am unlimited TT bike. I tried to do it in a 400ex chassis first. It was just one problem after another. The yfz was pretty bad but not as bad as the Honda. We made a cradle for the motor. Much like the cannondale design. Mounted in a jeep motor mount and a 350 chevy motor mount to soak up the vibration. Everything for those motors are really hard to find. Except for top ends and stuff. But the bottom end is very expensive to fix. The crank that's in it is fine except it has pits in it where water got in the flywheel housing. You can get a rod from ktm for $250. We have to get the crank built up and then get it tried back up to get rid of the pits. Made a exhaust from a fmf 250r pipe. And made our own silencer from a hmf we had laying around. I'd like to get my hands on a cool head for it..if I could ever find one. We are hoping it's in the mid to high 60s in hp and weigh a little less than 350 pounds. Non the less it's gonna be a monster when we finally get it together.
