Is it worth it to convert a 07 to a kick starter? Ive had so many problems with the electric start but my local motor builder said its around 600

yes it's worth it. for $600 does that include stripping your harness, adding a compacitor, taking the e-start gears out of the engine and plugging up the hole? if not JH racing and a few others sell a kit cheaper than 600 and you could do it yourself.

the parts are 600 but he is going to have my motor torn down at the time he does it so he said he wouldnt charge to install

i bought pieces little at a time from e-bay and spent close to that for half used parts after all the individual shipping costs and part cost, and it took months of searching and I still only have the 05 kicker arm, not the +06 which at the time was listing for 130 just for the kicker...

at the time i did the conversion it was 499 for all new... if it would have been 405 shipped a couple years ago I would have went that route for sure
