350x in a300

I heard that a atc350x motor will mount right up to to mounts on the 300ex frame.is this true has anyone tried it,and how fast will a 350x go. would i be able to keep up with a 400ex.

yes i believe the 350x mounts right up in the 300 frame, i think it puts out about the same horsepower as the 400 but it has 6 gears so it make be faster im not sure

Alot of people have done this the mods required are easily done. 350x are fast! Should be able to run with a 400ex, Some years of 350x have 6 gears too while others had 5 gears!!!! I would do it but can't afford the engine:devil Do a search or ask Speedbump for help im pretty sure he has done this before

The engine doesnt mount right up, you can buy the motor mounts from an engine builder though. I think most people that do it also use a 400ex carberator. It is definetly some work but if you find good engine and dont take any short cuts its prolly worth it.

250x#93, It doesn't matter what year 350x you have, it will have 6 gears. Honda didn't make a 350x that had 5 gears.

these guys are correct in saying the 350x will keep up with the 400's. Even the 440's. I started racing a 350x last year and trust me have done extremely well. Took the District 5 State Championship with that machine and I am now moving on to the National circuit with both my 350x and my 400ex (providing I don't sell it before the 1st National Race in Georgia. good Luck!

I have ridden a 300ex with a 350x motor in it. Yeah they are fast!! I have owned 2 350x trikes and they haul @$$. I can't help you on the mounting but im sure it won't be that hard. Good luck and show us some pictures if you decide to do it!
