I drained the cooling system on my 06 to put in an ESR temp gauge this week. I had a gallon of the orange dex cool antifreeze in the garage and was wondering if anyones tried it. I think it would be more compatable with all the aluminum in the cooling system than the typical green antifreeze. I know you cant mix the two so I plan on flushing the entire system with water before hand. Any thoughts or experience on this???

I think Im gonna try it when I put things back together. What kind of water temp is typical to see on these or whats the safe temp range?
Its a 13:1 motor, stage 2 hotcam, Full Sparks exhaust and a Pro Design/ K&N air filter on a 50/50 mix of 110 and 91 fuel.
