I know there was another thread about AMP but we are just trying to guage how many mini's will be there. We will make the drive and bring a few friends if there are going to be several there for the race.

I told Rich that Jordan hasnt been on his quad since June when he broke his arm and that looks like a good place to get back in the saddle.

Who's up for it?

AMP is off I-20 just into Alabama. The times - as I understand it is sign up is at 7am, practice is at 8am. Unfortunately that is not going to be possible for us to make it that early. Since Calhoun is a night series, I was not expecting an early morning race. Andrew is going to be crushed. For all that can make it however.....Amp is a beautiful track!

GA time.

that doesnt sound right. Sign up may be 7am local time and practice starting about 8am. I believe it would be local time for their schedule.

Does that mean yall are out Rich?

It looks like we are going to be there, we are not racing again until then. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

It is GA time. Amp uses GA time for everything. My facebook reply from the track confirmed that also. I will see if we can get there but unless they back it up at least a couple hours, it is doubtful. I am still confused on the reasoning to run it that early since Calhoun is a night series. Chuck Reeves already told me that they would not be able to make it that early either.

We are 75% sure we will be there..the other 25% has a electrical problem right now and other needs some steering fab done..but add 2 apex 50's to the list. How long is practice til the racing starts. I checked out the pics of the track..Looksbad$$..pretty fast track. I might see about bringing my bike up there so everyone can see some real crashing

Ok I am not complaining I guess. We only have a few chances to race before it starts turning cold and me and Kirkland have been trying to catch a race together since Aonia.

We will be there....

I was thinking about bringing a couple up from FL, but that 7am part kills that idea. We'll try to catch one of the night ones.

Why dont you guys just leave friday evening? drop in a hotel close by and be there about 8-9. Practice always starts late and I bet doesnt really get going until 9 or so....

We are going to bring our 50, and a couple 90's as well. probably a few out of Tenn coming with us. If we could get everyone to commit we may have a really good turn-out.
