No, he won it a few years ago I think it was in the WPSA series.

I think it was 2005 for his 1st championship in the AMA ATV nationals

yep wpsa i remember it was always between gust wimmer and weinen for 1st on the suzukis but he was consistent usually with 2nd and a couple wins lol that was a good season

john is an awesome guy and totally into this sport and his fans !! At dream camp I've seen him and his wife Michelle push starting quads for riders, wrenching on machines - swimming with the kids - he's a true Champion !! Congradulations on an awesome season and a well deserved champoinship !!!
