Hi, i am looking at a used lonestar axle and the guy says it will fit either a 450r or a 400ex.

Can a 450r axle be used on a 400ex and vise versa?

Thanks, Nick

He just told me it was actually off of a 250r. Not sure about the fitment there either.

Thanks.

It will fit in the carrier, but you will need to 250r hubs. The wheel hub splines are different.

Alright... it comes with the hubs on it so they should be fine I think.

He wants $200. He says it was hardly ridin on if at all.

It's a lonestar +4, -2 setup is what he says.

Does that seem like a good deal?

as long as she'll fit in the carrier, sounds like a good deal to me. I'd like to see a pic of it first, before I made any decision.. just my $.02

My statement is based off a thread in the 250r section. A 400ex axle will fit in a 250r carrier, so I would also assume the 250r axle would work in the 400ex carrier.

Pretty sharp axle! Cleaner than the ones i've seen on Ebay for sure. As long as it'll fit, i see no reason to pass on the deal.

If it is from a 250r it will fit in the 400ex carrier.I have an RPM dominator axle in mine, and yes you need the 250r hubs.Everything else is the same.
