I am going to get a leveling kit for my truck and have narrowed it down to Pro Comp. Both are 2". but my question is which one is better the poly or the metal? the price difference is not much but i dont want to get the poly one and in a year or two it falls apart. if anybody has any opions on either one let me know.

neither... 4 Wheel Parts is nothing but overpriced junk. Anything but steel will "settle" after a while and will start to sag, decreasing the lift height. Aluminum is too soft for diesels as well.

I have this on mine, and it could go through a nuclear war blast...

Before I did tne 6inch on my dodge, I had a 2inch level kit. It was metal. Worked fine. Didnt wear anything. XCracer is right too. That place sucks.

Also, make sure you get the truck aligned after you install the spacers.

since the added spacers dont move anywhere rubbing or wearing shouldnt be an issue. I have a set I made out of steel that does about a 3" lift and they work fine. I have buddies that have the poly ones and there hasnt been an issue.

And DO get an alignment. Mine was 4 degrees off when I was done installing.

Welcome. TGC is an actual manufacturer of lift kits, not just a distributor. I posted that link assuming they would make one for your truck, but if you just see a Rough Country for your truck, then YES I would definitely recommend that for your truck. They stand by their products.

BTW, what truck do you have?

I made my own 2.5" coil spacers for my 06 F250 powerstroke. Billet aluminum. Just bolts between the axle and the coil bracket. Works fine under the weight of my truck... cost nothing.
