Quad Stands ?

I am sending in my rear shock and i need to have my quad on a stand...i don't feel like buying one for a hundred and i really don't have the time to wait for it to be shipped so i am thinking of building one out of wood...anyone ever do this and anyone have any tips or ideas on how i should go about it..ex::demensions ..i used buckets in the past but they always end up drushing and this might be on there for 3-4 weeks...any help is much appreciated thanks ~john~

heres my stand, i made it out of 2 6x6 pieces and 2 pieces of ply wood and some aluminum. if you want dimensions of how big it is just ask, heres a couple pics.

go to a local school and steal some milk crates. thats what i did and they work perfect

yeah, thats what i do, but soon im gonna start making stands and selling them for less than most companies.:D
