Best axle?

We are running the old style hollow cobra axle right now. It is bent and may be my imagination, but it seems to be getting worse. I have heard that the newer style solid axles are not as good, don't really know. My question is, do I go with a durablue or a new style cobra axle? We really don't need a dnf with a broken axle right now.

We are running the solid Cobra axles on all of ours, so I can't give you a comparison. I can tell you that we have never bent one yet. They are very heavy though.

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression that you couldn't get the hollow one anymore. But, I was wrong. So, I ordered the light weight one. It is going in a 50 with a 7 year old 50lb girl riding it, so it should be fine. The other one was bent when I got the quad. I can save it for a spare.
