Kickstart, TC, System opinions?

GOALS: Ground Pounder, daily vehicle. Like loww bass, doesn't need to meter well but still gets low and loud.

Pretty set on a single sub set-up.

I originally wanted an 18 for the fact they're monsters. I've had 8s, 10s, 12s, and 15s but never an 18. I am now thinking I want maybe a 15 again..?

I have about 300 to spend for a sub ( originally wanted hdc318)

Will be getting an AP3k to power the sub.

Suggestions/comments/concerns?

Its a single cab? I highly doubt you will have enough space for a box for an 18 or 15. Maybe a single 12" Not really sure on how much space is behind the seats of S10s.

^^ Agreed on all UNLESS it's a blowthrough, ext. cab or 4 door. If it's an ext. Cab I would go with the 15" in a sub up port up setup. If you're going to wall it and have the space for the 18" I would go that route. More cone = More boom providing you have the space. We need more info on the cab setup though.

Edit: If it's ext cab or 4 door, measurements of the space you have to use would be useful to give you the best recommendations.

its an extended cab. And i want the ap3k since its cost effective over the aq 2200d. I have the electrical to back it.

The space is there for an 18 and a 15. About 8-10cu ft at the max so I'm good with that.

Either of you have experience with dbelectrical ho alts?

I would go a different route with the amp.

I personally would probably do either an HDC3 18 or save up $40 more and get the A coil 18 if your set on that much power.

I would personally only run up to 1500rms DAILY to the HDC3s.
