sounds good, glad you like it. ive never heard of them really. i knew that durablue made skids but didnt know they made them for the 400.

give us a good breakdown on it, thats a pretty good price.

whats the thickness?

It is about a quarter of an inch thick made of memory enhanced urethane. the only thing i dont like is it doesnt cover the linkage. But ohwell

I snagged one on Ebay for about 50 bucks new for when i'm not riding MX. I haven't really used it yet though, just bolted it up for fit and what not.

I kinda like it. It's like a stock plastic skid on steroids. Made out of THICK polyurethane, it seems like some pretty tough stuff. So it's like you get the good protection of an aluminum skid, but when something hits the Durablue skid and bends it out of shape, it just flexes and returns back to its original shape. No more bending the skid into your sprocket/brake rotor if you hit a nasty rock. It's really not a bad piece, and a nice alternative to metal skids.

It bolted right up to my Roll Design swinger, and even cleared the TM Designworks chain guide and big 40T sprocket with no problem, so I was pretty happy with that.

Hey Nacs,

How do you like your Hammerforce skidplate?

Would you happen to have a pic of your it from the left side? I'm curious how much of a gap there is between the rear sprocket and the skid. The reason I ask is that I'm running the stock swingarm and was wondering if I could run one of these skidplates with a TM Designworks Powerlip chain guide (one of their poly blocks that bolts to the skidplate). I'm just wanting to make sure I don't derail the chain like I recently did on my YFZR (PRM skid installed with no sort of guide when it happened).

Thanks!
Jordan
