should i grab this?

There is a guy with a 2008 yfz 450 that has been blown up, it has extended rear axle, uni filter, rock nerfs with heal guards, new barnett clutch still in packaging, pro taper bars and pad with extra bars, moose tie rods, and a brand new set of front and rear itp baja rims, with new holeshot sx tires on it that only have 1 hour of ride time on them. Everthing is there on the quad he said it needs bottom cases, crank, rod, piston, cylinder all the gears and everthing inside the motor are good. He said i can come get it for 1500 is this a good deal or not if i get all used parts off forums? or can i part it out for more than this? any help is appreciated thanks.

its a good deal all around. Part it out and pocket the cash or if your capable of doin the work then cases can be had for a decent price and you would have a 450 at a cheap price and put it back up for sale. Either way you aint gonna make money instantly but if you got the extra cash and time it will turn a profit
