I bought my 450r used and it came with them, and at first i thought it was a really cool idea. but when i ride real hard or race, im pretty sure my hands cramp up worse from them. they r way too thick, i feel like the setup makes the surface u hold onto too big around, which makes it harder to hold onto and cramps up your hands. has anybody else noticed that?

I have used the ODI rogue grips for over ten years because I used to rock them on the bmx bike. But they are thick but I got some bear paws but I would never switch to anything else!

I bought a quad with odi's on it and really liked them. they were ones without any really pattern just small squares

I have now switched to pillow tops and lovvvvve them

ive never tried those ODI's but there pricey, and pillow tops are pricey and don't last long enough

Ourys.....$5 and they last all season and there super comfortable:cool:

^^^^^^^^oury's! been using ourys since late 80's, tried all others and still go back to the ourys. cheap and comfy.

I won't run anything other than the ODI rogue's. A+ in my book

ya i have the lock-on rogue's and they just feel too thick, even my cousin thoughts so. i ordered a different style to try and see if it was better. when im riding normal it doesnt bother me, but when im racing or practicing my hands cramp up

just curious you guys must be wearing gloves ?

can you even tell the difference with a pillow compared to a waffle with the gloves on? Ive always just used 1/2 waffle 1/2 diamond and gloves and as long as they dont move Ive had no cramping,

do the pillows make that much difference,

like i said i just want them to be very secure,
and im afraid the pillow will feel to soft and give a sense of movement

jeremy, i already ordered the same ones andy has on his 400, i felt his and they felt way better than the ones i have. if i dont like them than ill try some scott ones.
DnB, yes i wear cloves, and yes i can tell the difference between grips with them on, and i feel like the rogue (pillow) ODI's r too soft and thick i dont feel like i have as good of a grip on the bike when im really pushing

got some of the maxrpm lock on grips this weekend at lorretas. mount up better and tighter imo then the odi's, grips are on the hard side though, but would definitely buy another pair
