Getting close to having all of the parts needed for my build so I'm trying to get the color schemes situation. Plan on stealth black for frame/ subframe and a few other pieces. Question is Pappy have you done translucent copper or orange over silver vein? If so, any pics?

Just did a test batch of the orange over silvervein and hated it! I did not like candy copper either! The only copper i like is teh copper sparkle

Would you have any photos of the orange over silver vein? Just to quell my curiosity

Darn, trying to get my color choice set so I can sort out parts and get some sent. Would like to do something a little different on my Z than what I have seen before. Have you done candy red over silver vein?

Candy red and blue over silverein is pretty popular...BUT.....IMO you really dont see the effect of it on an atv frame unless you are standing right next to it.

From what im reading, you are wanting a base color for the frame and highlight the other pieces to form the color scheme? This works.....but a good matching graphics kit will really help tie it all in...as well as plastic choices etc.

Over the years, most of the best looking quads ive seen have been basic. My all time favorite is a black frame/swinger/sub/arms tied in with white fenders and a godo graphics kit. Same can be said for almost any solid (red & blue being a close second versus the black scheme)....but thats just me haha:D

Well I finally decided on the colors and have several larger pieces ready. Just one question, are you able to repair threads on a frame there? Need the front bumper mounts done.

I used to, but I had to stop because I was getting so much time wrapped up in that stuff I wasnt getting work done.

Its best to make all repairs etc before sending it in here, I still however weld up cracks when i see them!
