I know everyone has been trying to upgrade the dim headlight bulbs on the 2008-2009 DS450 but cant find a replacement. I look for about 2 year with no luck still. Everyone says use an h4 or hs1 bulb but they still dont hook right up, and noone was ever clear about that. But this should help everyone else out.
You can take a regular h4 bulb for a car of your choice and it will fit tight into the housing of the stock lights, so I just used silicon on mine to seal the bulb in the housing and bought a pigtail and sliced it into the factory wiring harness.
And for everyones information the stock stator put out 250 watts and the quad including the fan uses about 140 to 150 watts.
Im going to pick up the Piaa h4 super plasma gtx bulbs and see how much better they are. I hope this will help eveyone out in the future.
