Its almost that time

Havent been seeing a ton of deer, but a few. It has been so incredibly dry that I am not sure what the acorn crop will be like. I know the food plots are horrible, hopefully they will bounce back for fall.

Caught this guy in the yard. 2 larger bucks were there but bolted the second they saw me.

you have some odd looking deer down in west virginia. they look kinda small physically to? im pretty excited. next month me and my dad are gonna invest in a trail cam and throw one back in the woods. im pretty stoked on it. i love hunting, and hunting with my family/group of about 10 makes it probably 100times better. my cousin that grew up hunting with my family, he was the *****, he dragged deer, gutted them, everything, he joined the military and prob wont be there. ive got big shoes to fill :D
