clutch push rod questions

I lost all feel in my clutch, no resistance at all. Just free play. I pulled the cover and the three little balls are in the cup but they look bad, really like a ball and 2 half ball's. Is this when you guy's just laugh at me and say buy the 89 update kit for my 88. Any body have the 89 update kit they want to part with? Thanks Javier

about your clutch problemes
the ancer is easy you need to up grade to a 88 or 89 clutch rod
it will work

my 86 brfore i did the upgrade witch i didnt realy notice any diff in cluch pull i only had one ball almost the some size as the cup part it goes in it worked fine until i cange clutches then i did not have much pull so i put a thicker washer on the peassure plate side or maybe it was two not sure but it worked had good pull so that what i did you just have to get a washer the right size you may want tio cheak the arm that goes in the motor right above the spocket pull it out and see if is not broke or worn out

oh ya you dont want to go to thick on the washer or it will hould you p plate out and clutches will slip it has to be just right

Also check the clutch apply lever coming out of the left case. Mine chipped away and made me lose all feel and clutch, and clutch didnt really work.

im not sure if you have resolved this problem but the same thing happened to my 250r you need to get a new clutch lifter
