Hey guys, im working on a budget and i want to clean the carb on my own, however im not very familiar with these things. i was wondering if anybody can tell me how to remove the carb itself. i already know how to clean it just need removal help. thanks!:)

just pull theplastics and tank and then loosen the boots where it connects to the engine and airboot and pop it out!

what about the gas line? how do i stop the gas from going to the carb?

Just turn the switch to off on the left side by the seat. Take some pics so you remember where everything goes. Its not to hard of a job just take your time.

You don’t need to remove the boot from the head. Just loosen the clamp where the carb goes into the intake boot. If you take the boot off the head it may not seal rite and you’ll need another gasket. Once you take the clamp off the boot it should just pop out with just a little pull and a slight twist of the carb.

It also helps to loosen the airbox so it can move back some when you pull the carb out.
