what brand of gear are you guy's running?
just trying to decide what I should get for my next set...

name you helmet, boots and gear brand. and lets hear how you like them.

right now I am running all oneal.

2010 oneal hardware pants/jersey
2009 oneal 909 series helmet (top of the line in 09)
2010 oneal boots (not sure on model)
leatt brace, hardware gloves and spy goggles. oh and a thor force chest protector.

i usually wear:

fox jerseys or shift ones usually hc ones
hjc cl-x6 helmet
steel toe boots or high top waterproof ones
fox gloves dirt paws
scott goggles


i like the new fox stuff, i was on strike against them for a long time. their cuffs were garbage... the new ones are like the shift and thor ones that are a bit wider now.

i have worn hjcs for 12 years and like them for the most part.

i use spy goggles and a fly helmet for the winter sometimes

Plain old mech gloves, jeans, t-shirts, maybe my (only) MSR jersey and work boots. Cant stand riding boots, only like over the boot pants ($$$$$) and why bother with a jersey usually since I have like 30 grey t-shirts from work.

When its colder I wear jeans, insulated dickies sweatshirts, I have a really nice dickies mech jacket thats insulated and blocks the wind really good. Really, really cold and still no snow I wear thin long johns under everything.

I also use a bell helmet. Nothing fancy. I dont believe in spending tons of cash on gear when off the shelf stuff I already have works.

thor quadrant boots, no fear motocross pants, afx helmet, oakley or smith goggles, fox dirtpaws, answer chestplate, for a jersey i have a no fear one, i never use it. i either wear a sweatshirt or t shirt riding. when i cant find my no fear **** i have my dads old pair neon blue/black and pink answer stuff. i have some old jeremy mcgrath replica stuff like helmets and a jersey. i have mechanix gloves, but i use the dirtpaws.
