UNI Length??

Hey guys could someone measure how long there UNI filter is on there 400ex? Reason i ask is i bought a CFM aluminum air box that holds the battery and everything and his UNI wont fit because its too long with the battery in there..there sight says a UNI will fit so im thinking he has a UNI from a different bike. Thanks!

U might have one of the older uni filters. I got one back it 03 and I just bought a new one this year and it was shorter the the first. I think uni started using the same filter for both a 450r and a 400ex. The R filter has always been shorter. Plus on the new filter package it says 400ex/450r.
