Whats everyone sporting for riding boots these days? i just picked up a cheap set of moose M1 boots. i know there not the best since they only cost a hundred dollars, ill prob have them a year and upgrade so im not to concerned... i figured anything was a good upgrade from hiking boots, or redwings. Any one have these by chance?

I wear Shift Combat boots. Been a couple years, so far so good. They haven't leaked and have been holding up well. Got them from Rocky Mountain on sale for less than $100.

I've got some 'O Neil boots, got them for $99, and I hardly ever wear them. I didn't feel like breaking them in, and I had to move my shifter when I wore them. I just wear some Caterpillar work boots when I ride. I also have a set of 50/50 Thor boots that I wear occasionally. I'd like to get a nice pair of Apline's or Fox boots sometime, but until then...

I always liked muck boots for just riding. You can move easy when you have to get off for something. IMO

well new boots are here they fit pretty good and feel like they give good support. the only down side that im sure is the same on most boots is the fact the metatarsal area is very thick. i just feel like im riding with ski boots on....first time ever in riding boots though im sure ill get used

Well, I spent like 10 years not being able to ride and when I started again it was without boots.

Now I can't seem to find a pair I am OK with.

I bought those ARC boots with the hinges.
I sent them back.

I could move my ankle to move my toe up fine, but I could not bend down at all.

The other thing was that I could not really get a feel for the pegs under my feet. I run a huge peg on my 450 and the mx boots had such a stiff sole.

I myself don't see the need for this or massive boots for ATV riding. Dirt bikes, yes... there is a severe need for awesome boots... but on a quad, if you are really using the boot's protection, well you are off the quad already.... lol....

Let me know how the Moose boots turn out.

I have just stepped up to SIDI Crossfire with replaceable sole. No break in time needed they were comfy from the get go and don't squeeze my feet like my O'neal's did.
