First Vehicle...

Well I am only 14 almost 15 and we just got my first vehicle...All it needs is a new tailgate,grill,and some rims/tires.Maybe a new paint job. The truck is a 1986 Chevy C10 1/2ton-Shortbed. I am pretty sure it has a 350 engine.$2000 stereo system and a 3 inch lower kit...I will pop the hood and take pictures of the engine and stuff tomorrow.Then just take some regular pics. We are hoping to have it all ready by the time I get my permit!I cant wait to start working on it...I just dont know what to mod 1st...My predator or my Truck!

I am not sounding big headed or anything when I say this but to work and stuff I am just going to drive an escort ZX2 sport....it is mine too...but until I turn 16 it is my dads so I sorta have 2 vehicles

yah I get our 92f150 xlt. I just gotta go get my liscense now, frankly though I don't care about having one. I've been on the road half of my life and I hate vehicles. Just like like the idea about being able to go to my friends houses and x-rated stuff:p

Exactley what I was thinking. Hold back with your lead foot too. My friend has one of those new generation 350's and it'll spin the tires across the parking lot on dry pavement, but I still like my first truck better

Yep. I could roast one forever, the back end is extremely light for the size of truck too so it doesnt take much. I used to run around 70-75 everywhere I went, but 55 is just as good and safer...did I mention it saves alot on gas. lol. :p
BTW, here it is. Goin to put duals on it next weekend hopefully. :)

My first vehicle was a 1991 gmc sonoma st 4wd with a 4.3 in it..I tottaled it july 6th.

When I got it the bed was caved in and the front fenders where rusted out and the paint was faded.After straightening the bed and putting new fenders.And getting the rst of the truck perfect.It got shot with a nice red color.I drove iit had 220 thousand on the motor.So we pulled it out and had it bored and rebuilt it.I used a edelbrock cam,edelbrock tes headers and Ypipe,edelbrock intake with a 5.7 tbi.The cam also had a matching chip.It would break them loose at 45 mph.I beat a auto 5.0 LX stang with it.Pretty quick plus I could still go 4-wheelin and haul my 4-wheelers.I put a pioneer 4300 Head unit with a sony Xplod 760 watt amp and 2 rockford HXL 12's in it.Also had all pioneer speakers and 2 extra pioneer 6.5's.

If you can't tell I really miss my truck!

Now I drive a 91 cavalier.it alright the body is straight and the paint is good.The tranny is on it's way out.I lost reverse 3 months ago.And it caught on fire and broke the center console trying to get it out.So I need a new center console.Plus it is really slow!
