This was back in Glen Helen Raceway on my 86'. Had a Paul truner cylinder and midrange pipe all Dad sponsored :)

It was my last amateur race before pro and using my new 88' quad.

Gary Denton came up to my pit and we got to chat about quad setup and stuff. It was pretty cool :)

I have more from other races. Just need to get them on the computer.

So Fast Trekker is the tires... I forgot the name of them.

On my 88' I finally had the grooved front radials put on.

Here is a couple of my 88' probably the best I have of it. I am in the air in 2nd.

The quad in front is Andrew Buck. Back then one of the top 10 national pros.

This was the Thomas and Mack center in Vegas. The next day we had a National and all the top guys were there in Vegas (my hometown) for the first time.

He was very cool. Totally down to earth even though he was the tops at the time. He checked things out on my bike to make sure I had them right and gave advice.

He was a pretty small guy. He looked alot bigger in the magazines :)

A small guy that did serious damage on a track.

lol they might actually sell a magazine if they started putting 250r's and atc back in or even hybrids

I have a question how rough was the quad to ride back then?

forgot about that.

I worked at a dealership back then and recieved about 5 of the RJ Mad Dog scottie stickers that bell provided with those helmets. My 86 and 88 250R's in the day always had a Mad Dog sticker on the front of the hood under the front number plate.

I still think it would look better in my basement. I would take it out once a year or so on a holiday or some other special event. :p
